Large vacant building goes up in flames in northwest Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY – Fire crews were called to a vacant building in northwest Oklahoma City early Friday morning.

Shortly before 6 a.m. on Friday, firefighters were called to a building near N.W. 23rd St. and Classen Blvd.

Initial reports indicate the building is vacant and it is said to be a 4,000-square-foot structure.

When fire crews arrived on the scene, flames could be seen shooting from the building.

At this time, there is no word on what started the fire or how much damage was done.
