OKLAHOMA CITY -  Oklahoma City police are taking part in a tense all day standoff with a wanted man.

Police evacuated the Extended Stay America hotel on Northwest Expressway.

The suspect, who is wanted on a number of felony warrants, has refused to come out of his room.

Investigators say the suspect checked into the hotel pretending to be a federal agent.

"We heard police knocking on the door telling Chad to come out," said witness John Hard. "They said 'Chad you got to come out. Somebody is going to get hurt.'"

John was staying in a room just a few doors down from the suspect before the hotel was evacuated.

"I looked out and saw the police by the door and thought it's time to get out," said Hard.

Police are not yet releasing the name of the suspect.

He is considered armed and dangerous.
