PC West Wins Regular Season Finale, Storm Victorious In Own Tournament

Putnam City West wrapped up the Oklahoma high school basketball regular season with a 61-41 win over Bishop McGuinness on Friday, February 20.

West finished the regular season with 20 wins and just two losses, while McGuinness registered a 12-8 record.

West hosts Del City High School on February 27, at 8 p.m. to open the regional round of the state 6A playoffs.

McGuinness takes on Yukon in the opening round of the post season at Edmond Memorial on the 27th with tip off set for 8 p.m. as well.

The OKC Storm, a team made up of local home school students, hosted it's own tournament for the weekend featuring several squads from Texas, Kansas and Arkansas.

The Storm defeated Pro Vision Academy, of Houston Texas, 68-62 on Friday evening.

Kurt Talbott's team is the two-time defending home school national champs.
