Police: Armed robber forced his way into apartment, ordered resident into back room

OKLAHOMA CITY – Police say they are searching for an armed robber in northwest Oklahoma City.

Early Friday morning, officers were called to the Northridge Apartments, near Britton Rd. and Council.

Authorities say the man forced his way into the apartment with a gun and ordered the resident into a back room.

The alleged suspect grabbed several items before leaving the apartment.

Fortunately, the victim was not injured.

Police conducted a search around the property but could not find the alleged suspect.

The suspect is described as a dark-skinned black man, standing 5’10” tall and weighing 160 pounds.

Witnesses say he is between 25 and 30-years-old and was last seen wearing dirty jeans and a green hoodie.
