ST. CLOUD, Florida (FOX8)– Glenn Buratti was turning 6-years-old and decided he wanted to have a big birthday party.

He decided to invite all of his classmates from Mill Creek Elementary to his party.

As he was getting ready for the party, his mother realized that no one was coming.

“To see the look on his face killed me inside,” Ashlee Buratti told WKMG.

Buratti says Glenn, who has autism, was so devastated that he wouldn’t even smile.

Turning to Facebook to vent, Ashlee wrote about how badly she felt for her son.

Almost immediately, strangers responded and began to come to the party with gifts.

The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office also saw her post, sending a flyover from the sheriff’s helicopter.

In fact, deputies pooled their own money and purchased a few gifts for Glenn.

“The amazingness of everybody coming together for someone that they didn’t even know,” Ashlee told WKMG. “A kid that didn’t have anybody come to his birthday party. It warmed my heart.”
