Sam Presti has proven to be one of basketballs best when it comes to evaluating and developing talent. So it`s no surprise Semaj Christon landed in OKC. The Thunder have a loaded back court, which meant the Xavier rookie would lead the OKC Blue giving him the distinction as 'the future of the thunder' a title he wants no part of.

Semaj Christon says trying to just keep working...keep working on my game. Really just trying perfect what I do and just win here first.

Mark Daigneault, OKC Blue Head Coach, says he`s always had point guard skills, but having the moxy to have a floor game and to run a team as a point guard, he`s really improved in that area.

From the word go, Christon impressed. he dropped a career high 32 points in his pro debut. He`s 12th in the D-League in scoring which helped him earn a spot in the D-League All-star game this season.

Semaj Christon says it was a great experience being in New York. it was cold, but I liked it, I liked it. I mean seeing the NBA guys play their game made me want to get to that level.

Dylan Buckingham says while he works toward that level, every Thunder player has been instrumental in helping him to get there, even the coaches. He says his story book career would have him winning a championship with the Thunder, but for the time being, he`ll happily enjoy his success with the Blue.

Semaj Christon says I go to the game sometimes, I get to talk to everybody, coaches, players. Everyone keeps telling me work hard and try to win because at the end of the day everyone wants to win, so we win, everybody is happy.
