*** A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT ***
The forecast is tricky for tonight and tomorrow.
A small change in temperature will change our precip type from rain to freezing rain to sleet to snow.
For this reason, it is imperative that you stay tuned for forecast updates or download one of our apps!
Sleet has transitioned to snow for OKC.
Northeastern Oklahoma could see up to 4″ of snow.
But Thursday should have a glimpse of sunshine, and a bit of thawing as temps sit around mid-upper 30s.
Reports say the roads are very slick, and will stay that way until at least Thursday evening.
OKC can expect a thin glaze of ice followed by up to an inch of sleet and then maybe a bit more snow.
Then the sunshine returns and a big-time warming trend kicks in!
Highs will reach the 60s by the weekend!
