The Oklahoma City Parks & Recreation Department is hiring ahead of what promises to be a stellar summer season.

The department is hosting the first of two job fairs this weekend.

People looking for a summer job can stop by the Will Rogers Senior Center at 3501 Pat Murphy Drive from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 21.

The second job fair is scheduled for Thursday, April 2 from 4 – 8 p.m. at the same location.

The department is looking for seasonal and summer recreation and grounds maintenance crews, lifeguards, water safety instructors, and pool cashiers. They Most candidates must be at least 18 years old. Lifeguard and recreation applicants can be 16.

At the job fairs, Parks & Recreation staff will be on available to discuss job opportunities and help candidates apply. Drug screening will be conducted on-site for those who receive conditional job offers.
