Police: One dead, one injured in OKC shooting

OKLAHOMA CITY – One person is dead and a second was transported to the hospital following an overnight shooting.

According to police, the shooting took place in the 1200 block of N.E. 44th St. around 10 p.m. on Monday night.

EMSA, Oklahoma City firefighters and Oklahoma City police responded to the scene on a call of shots fired.

When they arrived they found 28-year-old Christopher Hamilton and 23-year-old Delvin Robinson suffering from gunshot wounds.

Both victims were taken to the hospital.

Hamilton was pronounced dead and Robinson is still in critical condition.

The shooting is under investigation and is being considered a possible homicide.
