New documentary to showcase Oklahoma City’s historic past

OKLAHOMA CITY – The events of April 19, 1995 changed the history of Oklahoma City forever.

Now, a movie is looking at Oklahoma City ‘s history leading up to that tragic event.

“Oklahoma City: The Boom, the Bust and the Bomb” will chronicle the city beginning with the oil boom of the 1970s.

It will also follow through the 1980s oil bust and the events that led to the largest domestic terrorist attack in American history.

The documentary will open April 10 at Harkins Theatre in Bricktown.
