OKLAHOMA CITY – An Oklahoma City man high on marijuana and PCP is accused of assaulting a police officer.

On St. Patrick’s day, a man called 911 and said someone tried to drug and kill him.

When police arrived, they found the alleged suspect, Brennen Thompson, pacing around and sweating.

According to the police report, Thompson ran away after an officer grabbed his arm to escort him to the scout car.

Officers eventually caught up to Thompson and placed him in handcuffs.

But the struggle didn’t end there.

Police say Thompson continued to wrestle with officers and even grabbed one officer by the throat.

Thompson was then placed in hobble restraints and taken into custody.

He allegedly told officers he had smoked a marijuana cigarette dipped in PCP earlier that day.

He was booked into the Oklahoma County Jail for assault and batter on a police officer, resisting arrest, public drunk, and disorderly conduct.
