COLUMBUS, Ohio --The Oklahoma Sooners have arrived for their second round showdown with Albany, Friday at 6:30 local time.

Oklahoma has had a lot of free time on their hands since hitting the Buckeye state. They had Wednesday evening off to take in the sites and sounds of the city. On Thursday, the Sooners held an hour and fifteen minute practice at Ohio State which was closed to the media and public.

Following that, the Sooners came to Nationwide arena to handle their media obligations. Buddy Hield, Ryan Spangler, and TaShawn Thomas all met the media before their Head Coach Lon Kruger stepped in front of the cameras.

OU held a 40 minute on the court practice at the arena following their interview session. That was open to the media as well as fans.

Oklahoma will also have Thursday night off to spend how they please before they gear up for Friday's contest with the Great Danes.

The Sooners are hoping they can earn their first NCAA victory under Lon Kruger. That will make the veteran head coach the first ever to win 5 different tournament games with 5 different schools.

Here's a behind the scenes look at the tournament.
