Police: Oklahoma teens arrested after confessing to hundreds of cases of vandalism
SHAWNEE, Okla. – Three teenagers have been arrested after deputies connected them to hundreds of cases of vandalism.
Officers pulled the car over along I-40 in Pottawatomie County.
After the stop, deputies were able to link the alleged suspects to damage to three semi-trucks in the area.
Officials claim the group was throwing rocks at cars off of a nearby bridge.
Once in custody, the group also confessed to damaging at least 100 mailboxes around the area within the past month.
Authorities arrested 18-year-old Tyler Crandall and 18-year-old Todd Gale on complaints of dropping or throwing objects onto a motor vehicle and malicious injury to property.
A 17-year-old was also taken into custody.
