OKLAHOMA CITY – A 24-year-old Oklahoma City man was taken into custody after allegedly trying to send sexually explicit messages to a child.

The Canadian County Sheriff’s Office arrested 24-year-old Kelton Miller after investigators received photos of his genitals on an undercover Facebook account.

The fake profile purported to be┬áthat of a 14-year-old girl living in the Yukon and Mustang area. However, it was actually set up by a sheriff’s deputy.

Authorities say Miller’s Facebook messages to the girl contained sexually explicit and erotic details related to the type of sexual activity he wanted when they got together.

Once investigators learned that Miller planned on meeting up with the teen, they arrested him.

“Based on how fast this case moved, we had to move fast before he became suspicious of the undercover profile,” said Sheriff Randall Edwards, with the Canadian County Sheriff’s Office. “I’m glad we were able to put him behind bars before he could get his hands on a living, breathing underaged child.”

Miller is facing charges of soliciting sexual conduct with a minor through use of technology, lewd acts with a child, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
