Serge Ibaka’s very big night

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. — Tonight is one of the biggest nights of OKC Thunder star Serge Ibaka’s career, but it’s not taking place on the basketball court, it’s happening inside the Oklahoma City Civic Center Music Hall for the premiere of his new film.
ESPN produced a a documentary about Ibaka called “Son Of The Congo.”
The theme of the movie is Serge Ibaka left his homeland to make it in the NBA and then returned to make a difference.
The movie is sold out and hundreds of fans along with media enjoyed the excitement on the red carpet prior to the start of the film.
Tonight’s showing gives Ibaka fans a chance to share his powerful story.
The film will air later on ESPN.
