Several earthquakes recorded in northern Oklahoma

PERKINS, Okla. – Residents in northern Oklahoma may felt a little shaking on Monday afternoon.

Around 12:17 p.m., the U.S. Geological Survey recorded a 3.7 magnitude earthquake eight miles south of Perkins.

The Perkins quake followed two others that were recorded near the Medford area.

Around 11:18 a.m. on Monday, a 3.3 magnitude earthquake was reported by the USGS.

Five minutes later, a 3.1 magnitude earthquake was recorded in the same area.

Around 3:16 p.m., there was a 3.7 magnitude earthquake 11.8 miles north of Crescent, according to USGS.
