Oklahoma's Buddy Hield has helped lead the Oklahoma men's basketball team to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament, and when the Sooners face Michigan State in the East Regional semifinals on Friday  night, he'll be facing a familiar face.

Spartans guard Lourawis "Tum Tum" Nairn, like Hield, is from the Bahamas, and they've known each other since they were kids.

OU and Michigan State will face off at about 9:07 central time on Friday night in the regional semifinals, with the winner advancing to the regional final on Sunday.

Bob Barry, Jr. reports from Syracuse, New York.
