OKLAHOMA CITY – We’re learning new details about a bizarre chase that ended with one alleged suspect in the Oklahoma River.

Shortly before 4 p.m. on Monday, officers attempted to stop a vehicle near I-35 and I-40.

According to the arrest affidavit, police spotted a truck making erratic lane changes.

When officers turned on their lights and sirens, the truck took off, attempting to avoid police.

The chase on the highway came to an end when two people inside the truck jumped out and ran toward the Oklahoma River.

One man was spotted wading in the water and was taken into custody.

Eventually, police arrested 38-year-old Warren Murray for several traffic violations, illegal swimming and possession of a forged instrument.

Authorities learned Murray had a fake $100 bill on him and the truck he was driving was stolen.
