Rafferty studied at Bellarmine University in Louisville, Kentucky and got her first break in television at KZTV-TV in Corpus Christi, Texas. She moved on to the ABC station in Oklahoma City for three years before joining FOX News Channel as an anchor and reporter.

“I left Oklahoma City to be a network correspondent. Now, I feel like I’m coming home,” said Rafferty.

Marianne grew up in Beeville, Texas ranch where her parents moved after her father retired from the Air Force.  There, Marianne helped raise cows and horses. She was even a member of the 4-H club. She loves animals, but her passion is journalism.
