TULSA, Okla. – A housekeeper at a Tulsa hospital is accused of taking patients to the cleaners.

Tina Davis is accused of stealing credit cards from a patient and a doctor at Hillcrest Hospital.

The patient, Alyssa Applegate, told KOKI  that she was admitted to the hospital after she went into labor.

When she got home, she realized her information was compromised during her stay at the hospital.

During her stay, Applegate said she left her purse in a drawer in her hospital room.

“She’s got access to rooms and offices. She’s supposed to be in there cleaning and emptying trash,” said Det. Jason Hamm, with the Tulsa Police Department.

Reports indicate that Davis is accused of stealing Applegate’s credit card and a doctor’s credit card to use at local stores.

Davis was arrested when a Walmart employee asked to see her identification for a $700 purchase.

“You’d think you were safe when staying at a hospital after having a kid,” Applegate said.
