4.2 magnitude earthquake felt from OKC to Wichita

CRESCENT, Okla. – A 4.2 magnitude earthquake that rattled the northern part of the state could be felt all the way from Yukon to Wichita, Kansas.

The quake happened about 12 miles north of Crescent, Oklahoma. That’s about midway between Stillwater and Enid.

Residents from Ponca City, Enid, Yukon, and Warr Acres wrote in to KFOR’s Facebook page that they felt the quake, which occurred at 8:21 a.m. Saturday.
