Crash with Guthrie school bus leads to arrest

GUTHRIE, Okla. — Traffic was slowed on the Tuesday morning commute due to a car wreck with a Guthrie school bus.

Guthrie Police and Fire responded at around 7:45 a.m. to Guthrie’s west side for a two-vehicle accident that involved the school bus. The bus was hit from behind by an SUV on Noble Ave. between 7th and 8th streets, according to the Guthrie News Page.

Two children were on the bus at the time of the accident, but neither of them were injured.

The driver of the SUV that ran into the bus was arrested for driving with a suspended license.
