KD is OKC: Fans recreate Durant’s emotional MVP acceptance speech

OKLAHOMA CITY – While this season has been a mixture of ups and downs for the Oklahoma City Thunder, many fans are remembering where our star player was just one year ago.

This season, Kevin Durant has spent much of his time on the bench after suffering several injuries to his foot.

One year ago, he was on a national stage accepting the NBA’s Most Valuable Player award.

While people across the country may not be fans of the Thunder, they couldn’t turn away from Durant’s heartfelt and emotional speech.
