Update: Stillwater businesses evacuated after tanker backs into gas pump

STILLWATER, Okla. – Businesses surrounding a Stillwater Walmart are being evacuated after an accident at a nearby gas station.

Early reports from the scene indicated that the Walmart had been evacuated.

A manager at the Walmart says that the store is open for business and is taking in evacuees from the gas station and a nearby Burger King.

The evacuation happened after a tanker truck backed into a gas pump at the Murphy’s gas station in the parking lot of a Walmart at the corner of Perkins and Hall Of Fame in Stillwater.
