OKLAHOMA CITY - A metro dealership is targeted by a thief on the hunt for some hot wheels.

The whole ordeal was caught on tape.

The thief didn't even seem to know the cameras existed; he was too focused on a Cadillac's shiny new rims.

It was early one Friday morning in March, when workers noticed something odd outside Dealer One Auto Credit.

"It was sitting on the donuts, on all four sides," said Luis Compean, a salesman for the business. "I mean, I was stumped, it was pretty crazy."

The Cadillac with 22 inch wheels prominently displayed outside, was now stuck on spare tires. A tire swap that appeared to take place in the dead of night.

"Once I first seen the vehicle, I thought it was about four or five guys," said Compean. "Turns out, with the video footage, it was just him."

With nothing but a mini tool kit, the alleged thief set to work, and could be spotted on cameras all around the lot.

After an hour passed, the masked man rolled his hot wheels away.

He left behind the car, some surveillance camera close ups, and a frustrated dealership.

"He needed to do it for a reason, so obviously I hope it's a good one," said Compean.

Managers at the business say they've seen this same person stealing from them on camera before.
