Disturbing video shows the moment a police officer hit armed suspect with patrol car

The video below was released by an Arizona police department Wednesday.

It shows an incident in which a police officer used his patrol vehicle to end a crosstown crime spree.

Police told KVOA the suspect, Mario Valencia, confronted them with a stolen gun and fired a single shot before being struck by the cruiser.

Valencia is accused of a series of crimes in Tucson and Marana, Arizona on the morning of February 19, including stealing a rifle from the Wal-Mart in Marana, according to KVOA.

According to CBS5, Tucson Police were also on the scene. They said Valencia also is wanted for allegedly robbing a  7/11, setting fire to a church at the Tucson Baptist Temple, and for a home invasion in which he supposedly stole a vehicle.
