Police: At least one suspect on the loose after police chase

OKLAHOMA CITY – At least one, possibly two, people are on the loose after a police chase through the metro early Wednesday morning.

According to police, an officer attempted to make a traffic stop near SW 51st St. and Douglas Blvd. around 3:45 a.m. when the vehicle took off.

In the 2100 block of SW 31st St. the vehicle stopped and three to four people attempted to run.

One suspect was caught on scene, according to police.

The second suspect was found hiding underneath a truck by a K9 unit. That suspect did receive a bite from the K9 and had to be transported to treat the wound.

The first suspect was transported to jail. The other suspect will be transported to jail after they are released from the hospital.

Police have ended the ground pursuit for any other suspects.
