MIDWEST CITY, Okla. – Authorities in the metro are on the lookout for a man who they say is impersonating a police officer.

On April 13, employees at a store in the 7300 block of S.E. 29th St. in Midwest City called police after they suspected a man of stealing from the store.

According to the Midwest City Police Department, when employees confronted the man, he flashed a partial badge and claimed to be an undercover officer.

However, officials say he is not a member of law enforcement.

If you can identify the man, you are asked to call the police department at (405) 739-1317 and reference the case number 15-02854.
