A hit and run involving a school bus leaves a metro mom looking for answers.

Christy Genzler's son was one of five kids on board when a pickup truck rear ended the bus near I-40 and Agnew.

She says the wreck gave her son a concussion, and all she wants is for the driver involved to come forward.

"You know it's a needle in a haystack, it's not like they can just go out and figure out who it was," said Genzler.

It was an early morning phone call from Oklahoma City Public Schools that sent Christy into action.

"I got a call from my son's school, and they told me that he was in a bus wreck...I went and picked him up, and I went to the hospital and found out he had a large concussion."

The accident is now giving both mother and son a needless headache.

"He just....rear ended them, and my son was sitting in the back of the bus so you know, that's full force," explained Genzler.

The wreck happened just before 8 a.m. Thursday.

OKCPS officials tell KFOR there were five kids on board at the time of the wreck, but there weren't believed to be any injuries.

Witnesses say the suspect drove an older model Chevy truck.

"The truck just slammed into the back of them and took off," said Genzler. "If anybody had any information, I would be more than happy to help out."

School officials tell KFOR they are currently working with Oklahoma City Police on the investigation.
