OKLAHOMA CITY — A man jumped on the hood of his SUV to save the vehicle from being stolen. Police are still looking for the suspects involved in the car theft.

Last week, a man drove up to a convenience store in northeast Oklahoma City near N.E. 23rd and Martin Luther King Ave. The man walked inside, leaving his keys in his car, reports say.

Video shows that’s when a white car, possibly a Chevy Impala, drove up. Two males get out of the white car, one wearing a blue shirt, the other wearing an orange shirt.

Surveillance video shows the male in the blue shirt loiter around for a bit before jumping into the silver SUV.

The victim sees what’s going on, runs outside, and jumps on the hood of his SUV as the suspect speeds down the street.

Police say the victim held onto the car for about a mile before the suspect driver slammed on the brakes and knocked him off.

Officers say the victim was bloody from the fall when they arrived on the scene.

If you can identify either of the suspects or have any information, please call Crime Stoppers at 405-235-7300.
