Oklahoma church to host state officials, leaders for National Day of Prayer

OKLAHOMA CITY — The 64th annual National Day of Prayer is Thursday, May 7.

At noon on Thursday, the First United Methodist Church at 131 N.W. 4th will be hosting the event that is usually held at the State Capitol.

This year’s theme is “O Lord, Hear our Cry” and while the public is invited, the event will also bring many top ranking officials and leaders who wish to pray for the state and our nation.

A special prayer time will be held at the same location for pastors and key leaders at 10 a.m.
