Remember when your dad tied a string to your loose tooth and then the other end to the doorknob?

Well this father took pulling teeth to a whole new level.

Bryan Clay, an Olympic gold medalist, used a javelin to pull out his daughter’s tooth.

Clay tied a piece of string to his daughter’s tooth and then tied the other end to his javelin.

On Tuesday, he posted a video showing him launching the javelin into the air, pulling out his daughter’s tooth.

The former Olympian says the whole thing was his daughter’s idea.

Some worried that this unique tooth extraction would mean Clay’s daughter wouldn’t get a visit from the tooth fairy.

But Clay reassured his fans that he found the tooth and tucked it safely under his daughter’s pillow.
