OKLAHOMA CITY — A man says he was jumped by people he knew outside of the 7/11 at N.W. 63rd and Meridian on Monday.

Around 9 p.m., 20-year-old Andrew Patman was at 7/11 when he says he was approached by two guys he goes to school with. He says the three of them talked and walked outside together and everything “seemed normal.”

That’s when reports say the two men started punching and threatening Patman. One of the men, Davonte Murray, 21, even showed a .45 caliber handgun in the waistband of his pants as he threatened to kill the victim, according to reports.

Police say Murray and the other suspect took of on foot to the Meridian Ridge Apartment complex behind the 7/11, getting away with Patman’s iPhone 6 and his wallet that had a credit card, debit card, driver’s license, and $450 cash.

After the men got away, reports say they kept calling and texting threats to Patman.

Davonte Murray was eventually arrested. Police are still looking for the other suspect.
