Mid Del Public Schools

MIDWEST CITY, Okla. – Authorities in the Mid-Del Public School District say they are releasing students early from class.

District officials said they will release high school students who drive at 1:30 p.m.

Also, parents are encouraged to pick up their children by that time.

They say if there is severe weather, buses may be delayed.

If parents cannot pick up their children, kids will be sheltered in place if there is weather.

District officials say students who are checked out early will not be penalized with an absence.

Also, all Mid-Del activities for Saturday, May 9 have been canceled, along with afternoon pre-K classes.
