EDMOND, Okla. – An Edmond man is behind bars for a disturbing crime.

Schuyler Dillon Hamilton, 25, is accused of downloading explicit child pornography images onto his computer.

Police say they were alerted to Hamilton during an undercover investigation into the sharing of child pornography via the internet.

Authorities say they found 155 picture files from Hamilton’s computer that show a young girl between the ages of 10 and 13 years old posing in various stages of undress.

When questioned, Hamilton allegedly admitted to police he downloaded images of girls between the ages of 12 and 16 years old.

Police say Hamilton did not have an excuse for viewing child pornography type material other than saying he was curious.

Hamilton is facing charges for aggravated possession of child pornography, distribution of child pornography and violating the Oklahoma Computer Crimes Act.
