Silver alert: 76-year-old Oklahoma man known to hitch rides

McLoud, Okla. — A silver alert has been issued for a 76-year-old man in Pottawatomie County.

The Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public’s help to find Kenneth Howlett.

Howlett was last seen at 133 Hawk Springs Drive in McLoud.

He is a white male, said to be wearing a blue western style shirt with red and gold design, black jeans, and black shoes.

Authorities say Howlett has a medical or physical disability and may be in imminent danger.

He has been known to hitch rides on his way to Bangs, Texas, in the past.

But be careful approaching the man.

Howlett is reported to have violent tendencies.
