OKLAHOMA CITY – The recent rainfall has done wonders for our lake levels, but it has also resulted in a bit of flooding across the state.

Due to the risk of flooding, officials are restricting access  to the following areas at Lake Stanley Draper:

  • The boat ramp at Lake Stanley Draper marina is accessible, but courtesy docks and gangways are closed.
  • Point 1 is closed, and all facilities, including picnic areas, boat ramps, gangways and courtesy docks, are out of service.
  • Point 19 road is washed out and will remain closed until repairs can be made.

Lake Stanley Draper is nearly one foot over capacity, which has resulted in trees and brush becoming submerged.

Boaters should use caution while operating watercraft near the shoreline.
