WARR ACRES, Okla. – A water main break that city workers fear could cause a street to collapse has shut down part of Macarthur Blvd.

Officials have been forced to shut down one southbound and one northbound lane on Macarthur Blvd. between NW 58th St. and NW 60th St. due to the break.

According to officials, the break was discovered Tuesday around 2 a.m.

Crews are on scene working on the break, although there is no word on how long it will take to repair.

Once the water main is repaired, the street is expected to be opened back up.
