Police: Suspect on the run after Dollar General smash and grab

OKLAHOMA CITY – Police are searching for a suspect after an early morning smash and grab burglary at a Dollar General on the cities northwest side.

According to police, a suspect smashed the front window of the store located in the 4400 block of NW 50th just after 5:30 a.m. on Wednesday.

Police were called by the owner of the store after who watched the burglary through a live stream from their security system.

The suspect is described as a white male wearing black shorts with a white stripe, a blue shirt and blue shoes.

Police believe the suspect took off on foot after the burglary.

It is unclear what the suspect was able to get away with at this time, according to police.
