Deputies: Missing pregnant woman found safe

SALISBURY, N.C. – Authorities confirm that a missing pregnant woman has been found.

Last week, family members reported 49-year-old Carrie Bradshaw- Crowther missing.

They say they were getting ready to go to the hospital so Bradshaw-Crowther could undergo a C-section.

The woman’s daughter left to get gas and came back to find her mother missing.

Family members have not heard from her since she disappeared, saying she has a medical condition that makes is life-threatening if she goes into labor.

While very few clues were found, officials say they received a break in the case on Monday.

According to WSOC, a¬†woman used Bradshaw-Crowther’s ATM card Monday at a convenience store in Boone, North Carolina.

A short time later, officials found her at a gas station.

Authorities say Bradshaw-Crowther was taken to an area hospital for evaluation.

Police are not releasing any information about her status, including anything regarding her pregnancy.
