“Lethal Weapon,” “The Goonies” actress dies at 62

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. – An actress who appeared in several popular movies has died at the age of 62.

Mary Ellen Trainor was best known for her roles in all four “Lethal Weapon” films and her portrayal of Mrs. Walsh in  “The Goonies.”

She also appeared in “Die Hard,” “Little Giants” and “Ghostbusters II.”

Trainor died on May 20 at her home in California of complications from pancreatic cancer, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
