Recently, American Pharoah accomplished what many horses have failed to do and win a Triple Crown.

There have only been 12 horses that have claimed the Triple Crown since 1919.

One of the most well-known and fastest horses of all time is Secretariat.

In 1973, Secretariat claimed the Triple Crown at record speed.

Secretariat finished the Belmont Stakes in two minutes and twenty-four seconds.

The Wall Street Journal put Secretariat’s and American Pharoah’s races side by side to compare what would have happened if the pair had been racing each other.

According to the video, it would not have been that close.

Secretariat would have finished in first place, with American Pharoah coming in second with a time of two minutes and twenty-six seconds.
