WILLIAMSBURG, Va.  - A baby girl was born on the Jamestown-Scotland Ferry early Wednesday morning, according to a spokeswoman with the Virginia Department of Transportation.

Parents Kayla and Jonathan Cline said they were on the way to Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center from their home in Surry County when the baby couldn't wait to enter the world.

"My water broke on the ferry," Mrs. Cline said.

"It was so much pressure, and I thought I was going to have a bowel movement.

Five seconds later, I said, 'Jonathan, this baby is coming! I'm pushing this baby out,' and that's exactly what happened."
