HUNTSVILLE, Tex. — On Tuesday, we brought you a story about a firefighter who answered a call about a car accident, and his family happened to be the victims.

All lives involved were saved that afternoon, but the family allegedly didn’t have health insurance. So a GoFundMe account was set up for the family.

Taylor Swift apparently saw the story on Buzzfeed and ‘favorited’ the tweet.

Not long after that, a $15,000 donation was transferred into the Van Ripers’ GoFundMe account…Signed by Taylor Swift.

Swift’s publicist would not confirm whether or not the pop star actually made that donation, but an inside source confirmed that she did.

A family friend took to Facebook to express her gratitude to Taylor, as well as everyone else who donated to the firefighter and his family

Oh, Taylor. You are too much.
