Sam’s Club offering free health screenings for men on Saturday

OKLAHOMA CITY – When it comes to being a dad, most fathers will go above and beyond for their children.

When it comes to themselves, two-thirds of men only respond to medical emergencies instead of being proactive about their overall health.

In honor of fathers everywhere, Sam’s Club is offering free health screenings to club members and the public.

The “His Health” screenings are free and available at all Sam’s Club locations with a pharmacy on Saturday, June 13.

From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., man can be tested for the following:

  • Prostate-specific antigen- Men 40-years-old and older are screened for prostate cancer by checking the blood level of PSA.
  • Blood pressure
  • Total cholesterol
  • Good cholesterol
  • Risk ratio
  • Glucose
  • Body Mass Index
  • Vision
