One dead after shooting in NE Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY —  Police are investigating a shooting in northeast Oklahoma City that has left one man dead.

The shooting occurred at N.E. 23rd and Martin Luther King around 3:20 p.m. Thursday.

Clarence Dickerson, 20, was injured in the shooting. He was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

There were numerous witnesses to the crime, police say.

The suspect is described as an 18-20 year old dark-skinned male, wearing a white shirt, a light-colored hoodie, and blue jeans.

The suspect was last seen running in the northwest direction from the scene.
