PRYOR, Okla. – Residents in one Oklahoma town say they were shocked to discover booklets containing obscene, racist language in front of their homes.

According KJRH, fliers recruiting for the Ku Klux Klan were found on the doorsteps of dozens of homes around Pryor.

Robert Kirchner said he found a flier on his steps with the words “God gives us men” on the front. He initially thought it was a flyer for a church.

When he opened it, Kirchner says the booklet listed reasons as to why people should join the KKK.

It also called out certain local leaders and named specific businesses the KKK wants people to boycott.

“I think in this day and age, we should be past this. Although they operate under the umbrella of religion and Christianity, and what I read in here is not at all anything to do with Christianity,” he told KJRH.
