OKLAHOMA CITY – It’s summer time and school’s out, which has a lot of parents wondering, “how can I keep my kids interested in learning when they’re not in class.”

Now there is a new event coming to Oklahoma that is helping parents tackle that issue.

State School Superintendent Joy Hofmeister stopped by KFOR to talk with us about EngageOK, and what educators are doing this summer to help prepare for the school year.

EngageOK is taking place July 7th-9th at the Cox Convention Center.

The conference is free, but you have to register.
