Police: Possible strip club fight ends in homicide

UPDATE: The victim who as found outside Fantasy Island has been identified as 34-year-old Christopher Rhodes.


DEL CITY, Okla. – Police are investigating after a ‘shots fired’ call leads them to a body in a strip club parking lot early Saturday morning.

Police discovered the body of a black male in his 30’s in the parking lot of Fantasy Island in the 3200 block of Tinker Diagonal St. around 1:30 a.m., according to police.

It is believed that the shooting was the result of a fight that spilled out into the parking lot of the business.

Witnesses have been interviewed, but so far police say they do not have a clear suspect description.

The incident is being worked as an active homicide.
