UPDATE: 7-month-old baby found safe in Texas

UPDATE: Detectives with the Edmond Police Department say they were able to locate Destiny in Texas.

Authorities say she is safe and the case is currently being investigated by the Okmulgee County Department of Human Services.

 

EDMOND, Okla. – Police are looking for a 7-month-old child who they believe is in danger.

The child, Destiny Jewell, was last seen in the 1100 block of S. Broadway in Edmond on July 3rd.

Destiny has a push button feeding tube.

The 7-month-old is believed to be with her mother, 22-year-old Ashley Campuzano – a known drug user, police say.

Campuzano may be driving a white, 2000, Mitsubishi Montero with an Oklahoma license plate 274-JOR

We are waiting for officials to send up a picture of the child.
